For those of you who may have been wondering why I haven't blogged in a few weeks (Heather), I'll catch you up.
The kids got out of school on May 22nd.
Here is a picture of the girls leaving for their last day of school (field day).

Then, since the girls never get to have "friend" parties because their birthdays are all close to the holidays we decided they could have a start of summer pool party with their friends. It was a lot of fun. Everyone got fried, hopefully the other moms are still speaking to me, I don't know. I had pizzas delivered to the community pool and bought some floatie-things.
Here's Eliza with some friends... (she's the one is the goggles)
And here's Emma and friends.
A good time was had by all...including Sophie.

And here's a picture of Caleb's end of the year field trip with his preschool class...We went on a hike at Madera Canyon with the whole class (and Duke, of course).
He's made himself the class mascot now.

Hey, who's that little girl in the pink? Second in from the right? I don't remember her from class... oh, that's Sophia Turner. She's not in the class but refused to get out of the picture.

At least she's cute. Poor Caleb is at least a year older than any of the other kids in this picture--and no taller. But he looks pretty cool in his camo shorts and belt. Jim kept pestering me to get him a belt to wear with his church pants. Now, he wears the belt everywhere and will NOT wear any shorts or pants that don't have belt loops. I don't think it's looks so much as he just likes the secure feeling of knowing his pants aren't going to fall down. He cinches it up so tight I'm afraid he's going to do internal damage.
