The kids and I hit the road for a few weeks. Jim will be joining us in Oregon on the 2nd. But for now we are flying solo--all 6 of us. We left Friday morning and drove up through Arizona...Phoenix, Flagstaff, Page... over the Glen Canyon Damn Bridge (Yes, I know I spelled it that way...I hate driving over that bridge--eliza was laughing at me while I clutched the wheel in a death grip with the firm knowledge that all of our lives were dependent on my two hands on the steering wheel and that I could at any moment make one mistake that would send all of us careening to our horrifying deaths in the river below.) Anyhoo, then we continued on into Utah and finally landing in Lehi, Utah at Kamber's parents house. (Kamber is married to Jim's brother Jared.) We had a great time with Kent and Keena Price and their bird Scuffy (a 40 year old Cockatoo...I think) and all of the cousins. (Pictures tomorrow)
Now we're at Jim's Aunt Norma's house and we're playing with more cousins and having a blast. We went to Temple Square and the Church History Museum today, rode the light rail and the other night we went to a Brazilian meat eating restaurant. I'll update more soon, but Sophie is melting down...so I gotta go.
