"Make new friends, but keep the old..."

I think I'm ready to blog about it now.

The day after our great camping/boating trip with the Paulsen family, they got some exciting news. Unfortunately, their exciting news is our devastating news. They are moving to California. Out of the blue, Brian got the transfer he thought he'd never get, to move to the BP station near their family in Temecula, California. They've lived in Arizona away from their family for 9 years. It only stands to reason that as soon as they become close friends with us, they'd get to move. The Turner curse lives on...

I cried my eyes out because I'll be losing my best friend, Carly. And Jim and Brian are as close as I've ever seen him with anyone but his brother. Emma and Lauren are best friends. Lydia and Lacey are best friends. Tommy and Caleb and Sophia play so well together. IT SUCKS!!!! We had to break it to the kids and hold them while they cried and cried. Why does everyone move away but us?????!!!!

AAAAAGGGGGGHHHHHHH!!!!!!!

I'm happy for them. Really. I am. I really am. But I'm kind of devastated for us. It's one of those life experiences I guess. But it's gonna to suck big time.
