All right, we're settled in at Grandma & Grandpa Turner's and I now have some time to blog about all of our adventures. I don't remember where I left off, so I'll just tell you about the highlights. While we were in Utah we went to Lagoon with Jared & his family, Grandma Turner, Heather and Amanda. We had alot of fun. Rode rides, had thrills, got soaked on the rapids. A great time was had by all. Sophie was a trooper. She had cut her foot running around barefoot at Aunt Norma's and she walked all day long with a sore foot and without any complaints. She loved every minute of it. Her favorite ride was the "Yady-Bug Dwop" (Lady Bug Drop). She is truly fearless. Lydia and I went through the Terroride (scary ride) with out eyes closed the whole time, when Sophie came out she said, "Did the lady get away from the bad guy?" She wasn't scared, just curious to know how the thing ended. Weird.
I've got a thrill ride buddy in Eliza. She and Emma went on everything I did (except the huge drop ride, whatever that's called, which scared the holy crap out of me). Emma wasn't too happy about it all, but she was trooper. Eliza loved it. Lydia wasn't having any of it and Caleb was too short to go on anything but the little kids rides. This really bothered him because his cousin David, who is 1 month older than Caleb, is as tall as Emma and can go on any ride in the park. Oh, the trials of a short kid. I totally understand, Caleb.
